Character Scene Completion & Applied Math

DO NOW:

  1. Read my comments on your blog from yesterday
  2. Show me your After Effects demo from yesterday if you did not post in your summary
  3. Print out your characters from  Illustrator and pin-up on the "Drawing Board". FIT TO PAGE

OBJECTIVES:
  1. Download and print Character Scene Score Sheet
  2. Record Character Scene
  3. Edit in After Effecst (Add titles, background and sound to scene)
  4. Render as .MP4
  5. Submit to Google Classroom
  6. Math- Pi Day Activity


After Effects


What I was supposed to do What I got done
  1. Import Character Scene into After Effects - Printed Direction
  2. Pre-Compose layers
  3. Add background image and Sound












  1. File->Script->New COmp from character Animator Recording
  2. Pre-Composing Combine layers 
  3. Add background image: File->Import which brings the file into the project panel. Then double-click or drag to timeline
  4. Added preset animations by dragging from the panel to the text and also by manually animating opacity using transform options

Talking Squidward

What I was supposed to do What I got done
  1. Place images in document: your "After Image", "Mouth Poses" and background
  2. Record/Edit Audio
  3. Sync words to audio
to hear the sound while scrubbing:
select the sound layer
got to the properties panel->sync->stream

to import the mouth poses:
file->import->open external library->select mouth.fla

to sync the voice with mouth:
move the playhead to where the voice starts, insert a keyframe (F6), select the mouth on the stage, click the frame picker button in the poerty panel and choos e the pose which matches the sound
